Crimson Moon has been decent. I don't think I would have paid $40 but at $20 it's been fun enough. From prerelease info I had guessed the buildcrafting wouldn't be super deep and that's been true. I'd say it's worth grabbing if you were interested in Nightreign but skipped it because no 'true' solo mod existed.

Aniimo is definitely something I'll check out since I loved Palworld, Blood of Dawnwalker sounds interesting, but I won't play it if I have other games on my plate, I'll just play it later. Same with Witcher 3 remaster and Valheim, I'll probably sink my teeth into them once I can, but it's not priority (I already played them to death)

From what I heard it's not so much a time limit as it is a story beat progression. I guess you hit certain beats that change the clock from day to night, and eventually you'll know how that works and can pick when to progress forward vs. stay where you're at. Jumping in today to see how it is.

Itll be on the upper end of other similar slow tactical games. Its way too slow and time intensive to become a COD or battle field, to slow, gear based and level gated to compete with CS or Val (you have to play quite a bit to unlock your first red dot on maps where enemies are hundreds of meters away), and potentially to clunky to compete with other fast paced BRs. It will be popular in its niche but it will be a niche nonetheless.

not gonna lie i feel like i have played crimson moon before... roughly 30 years ago on my playstation... you were some sort of knight, got boons as powerups and could transform into some sort of angellike demigod while all a while being part of some monk-church-mumbo-jumbo... no clue what the name of the game was but if I can remember ill come back here and tell ya xD

If you decide to play valheim in September you might as well forget about all these other games. You have to build your starter base and get your Elder kill. Then you enter the swamp which you will be thinking about at work as you improve your base and start collecting iron. Then as you progress into the mountains and the plains you will be 3 weeks deep into the game and unable to hardly think about anything else or eat or sleep. By the time you enter the Miss lands your addiction will be intense.
