▶ BIO
Bell'Masry is a company of Egyptian dance and music created in 2013 by two artists driven by the same passion for the arts: Taly Hanafy (from France) and Kareem GaD (from Egypt). Passionate about Egypt and its vast cultural heritage, they decided to put their desire and complementarity together to to honor the legacy of Egyptian Art, including music and dance.
Bell'Masry means "by the Egyptians" in literary Arabic. Together form the words in French "Belle Egypt (Masry)."
Both have a long career behind them more than 10 years. They shared their passion for dance through many countries with their triple cap dancer, teacher and choreographer. Kareem is a specialist in the history of Egyptian dance and music and knowledge as well as extensive practical and theoretical as well as his passion of the modern ways . Taly specializes in oriental dance and all its variations from the more traditional to the more modern.
They attach importance to highlight the tradition with a new and modern look, while exploring another side of pure creation.
